Fukuoka!

Shortly after the SMU sports camp, I was whisked off away into another chapter of my life; a trip to Fukuoka with my brother and my mother. It was a nice little holiday, and I hope to make another montage out of it in the near future. Our trip took us to four places; Kurosaki Onsen, Beppu, Yufuin and Fukuoka in that order all over the course of five days. Being a more rural area of Japan, it was nice to see a more quiet area without the hustle and bustle of every day city life. Then again, there was little to do if you did not plan to trek, and often times we spent a lot of time in the Onsen, especially at Kurosaki Onsen, a town specialising in its natural Onsens. Countries like Yufuin were more fun, but we did not stay over at the place overnight. We simply stayed there for four hours in transit, although this allowed us to walk all around town, seeing the wonderful stores that they had (apparently 1000 Yen stores are also a thing in Japan) with a lovely mountainous background. Beppu had a wonderful seaside view, and it was a little bigger than the other previous cities. With that in mind there was a lot more to see, which I hope that my future self can enjoy in the form of a video montage. The last place was Fukuoka, which was honestly just shopping for most of the time, to satisfy my mother's and my need to spend money in a foreign land.

With camps coming up in the near future, I don't really feel like coding, and all the languages that prove useful are now done in Codeacademy, even though I paid a relatively large sum for its 6 month subscription. I should use it, and I will in the near future... I hope. Instead I hope to focus more of my time into doing something I find fruitful as the university work looms ahead of me. With this I mean more reading and more movie watching, although some may argue that that may be a waste of time.
