The Olympic Games 2012
My most sincere apologies for not writing for the last two previous days. I a lot has happened in my life of which I do not wish to discuss. However I do have a little bit of time, once again, to write on this wonderful website of which I have committed a lot of time to writing about. I am aware of the fact that some may have grown a little bored of my personal life and its interpretations and I admit that I have also frustrated a few of my close friends as well. Therefore today I will be talking about current affairs and about the world around us.
This year is once again a very eventful year with two very major events once again occurring in the same year. These two are life and career changing and will be talked for years to come. Yes, I am talking about the London 2012 summer Olympics and the American Elections, where Barack Obama will have to once again fight for his place in the White House. For the current moment, as I am a little curious myself, I will be delving into the world of sport to give my readers a little insight on the Summer Olympics.
If you don't already know, the Olympics will be taking place in London for the third time in history but for the first time in this millennium. The last two Olympics which took place in London was in 1908 and 1948. It is scheduled to take place on the 27th of July to 12th August 2012. It wasn't easy getting the privilege. They had to compete with many famous countries such as Havana, Istanbul, Madrid, Moscow, New York and many more, exotic countries that I have yet to visit.
As soon as they were given permission London set out to work almost immediately, with the swift establishment of Olympic Delivery Authority, who were in charge of the construction of the event venues and overall infrastructure of the Olympics itself.

The interior of the British Aquatic Center
They immediately set out to build and decorate London with many Olympic themed decorations. Such examples are Giant Olympic Rings found on the River Thames, of which now rests on a barge. Another one is the new Aquatic Center, of which the English are very proud of.

Unlike previous incidents, I will try to the best of my ability to follow the action on the Olympic Games when it commences in July. I will be looking forward to it.
